Welcome to St Ann's
St Ann’s is a Victorian double fronted building with a small parking area at the front. It has a large garden and summer house that residents and their visitors can enjoy in fine weather.
St Ann’s is a short distance from the centre of Brighton and is close to Blaker’s Park, and Preston Park where there are two cafés, gardens and a sensory garden; locally there is a post office and pharmacy. All other amenities, large shops and Banks are in nearby London Road. There are two railway stations in the area London Road, and Brighton mainline station. St Ann’s is on a bus route and within reach of the seafront by car.
St Ann’s is registered for elderly people who suffer from dementia and require personal care. Our residents are generally over 60 years of age, however we do accept younger residents if we can meet their care needs.

Organisation
St Ann’s is under the care of our Care Manager and Senior Care Assistants. A typical shift would be covered by a trained nurse assisted by care assistants, housekeeping, maintenance and administrative staff.
The home is fully committed to staff learning and development. All care staff are working towards their NVQ qualifications and there are various monthly training courses available for staff development.

Medical care
Medical care is provided by the local General Practitioner of the resident’s choice. The home also has retainer GPs who visit weekly.
Referrals to specialist services and facilities can be arranged through the GP. Every six weeks we are visited by a chiropodist and other services can be arranged by appointment.
