Our fees are payable monthly in advance. The level of fee is dependent upon choice of rooms and the level of care, some or all of which may be met by the local authority/health service.
Fees include all care and accommodation costs, food and drink, heating and lighting. We also have a laundry service for linen/towels and machine washable clothing only. Residents are expected to pay from their own personal allowance or private income for items such as newspapers, clothing, personal toiletries, books, magazines and additional services provided at Ashton House such as hairdressing, chiropody and transport for outings.

What happens next
If you are happy with the viewing and accept a placement, an assessment of needs is then carried out before a date is agreed for admission. The first four weeks of residency is mutually agreed as a trial period. During this time the residents care and support requirements are assessed, discussed and developed into an agreed care plan. With the resident’s agreement, discussions may include any relatives or representatives who may be involved with the care needs and plans. The aim is to achieve a care plan that everyone is happy with.
